For the past few years it has been a dream of mine to really dive into photography, as it has always been a passion of mine. Now I’ve finally gotten the opportunity to explore the realms of photography, and I’m bringing all of you along.
I remember being a teenager and going to the camera store with my dad to buy a birthday gift for my mother, a camera. Well, poor mom didn’t see the camera much because soon after this camera became an extension of myself (sorry mom!). Honestly, back then I didn’t know much about photography, but something drew me towards this art, it fascinated me. There’s something about having a vision or experiencing a moment and then capturing it, transforming it into a piece of art, just wow!
Now forward to just a few days ago, I’ve been photographing all my pictures with my Iphone 6s Plus, and although it does it’s job, it doesn’t do it to my standarts. So it’s only natural that the next step would be to invest in a proper camera!
So from now on I will be shooting on a Canon EOS 6D Mark II! The reason this means so much to me and why I am sharing it today is because this new chapter, to me, represents freedom. After being suppressed the past seven years by someone I will not give any more attention that this sentence, I am finally able to grow and express myself the way I want, without ridicule or sabotage. This new adventure represents freedom, creativity, love and being connected with each other, this is why I find it so important to share, because it makes me feel connected with you, and hopefully we can inspire each other to pursue our dreams.
What this will mean for this blog is that I will be taking you along my journey, sharing the photography tips and skill I will gather. Besides that I will be creating more content as it has given me new inspiration. I am extremely grateful for this blessing, and worked very hard for it!
Somewhere this month I will make a detailed post about the segments that will be frequenting this blog. The main focus stays food, but I will also share more food for the soul, discussing lifestyle, art and spirituality. For now adventure time will be a reoccurring segment where I will take my camera, go on an adventure (whether it be a food crawl, botanical garden, travel, etc.), one that inspires me, capture it and share it with you, because I want to take you on this journey with me.
Now I will close this post by saying thank you, to anyone who has contributed to me finding more light in my life, I will try my best to send this light back into the world.
