It’s Oktober which means another batch of halloween inspired dishes will be appearing throughout the month, and we’ll be kicking it off with this purple soup. Serve this to your guests during a halloween party, “uhm what is this?” they will probably ask, looking at you like your some kind of witch. Today I’m sharing a recipe in collaboration with Magioni, whom I’ve been working with last month to create some delicious vegan recipes to go with their delicious pizza crusts. This post is not sponsored.
You might already know Magioni from their cauliflower pizza’s. Magioni just launched their new pumpkin pizza crust, which goes perfect with the new season and to celebrate I decided to make an easy and fun recipe to go along this crust. The crusts are available at AH in the Netherlands, but don’t worry, if you don’t have excess to this crust you can make it on any pizza crust available.
The reason I decided to team up with Magioni is because I saw an opportunity to spread even more awareness on a vegan diet/lifestyle. By creating a few fun and creative recipes for them to share I know for sure that there will be many people introduced to a more conscious way of eating.

Self love, how many of us actually practice this? I’d like to share my opinion on self-love and why I think it’s very important to practice.
I mean, doesn’t it sound weird to stand in front of the mirror and to tell yourself that you are beautiful and “I love you”, while it’s absolutely normal to compliment someone else on their looks or to tell them you love them.

What to do with that leftover piece of bread? Well don’t feed it to the ducks, as I’ve learned that feeding ducks bread is actually bad for them! We are also not throwing it away, we’ll be turning those dried out pieces of carbs into croutons fit for any salad, soup or snack!

I’m all for savoury dips and spreads, especially when they turn out to be nutritious like this garlic basil & pea spread. There’s something very comforting about a good and savoury spread on some quality bread in my opinion, so I came to serve!
It makes a great dip for veggies or have it as a spread on some toast with avocado, sprouts, chili flakes and black salt, instant win!

Ever since attending one of the bento workshops hosted by Sara from shisodelicious I’ve been obsessed with making these bento boxes. For me they are a fun to prep and I find myself eating more nutritious meals throughout the day.
Bento boxes originate from Japan where the homemaker would often prepare a bento for their child, partner or themselves. They are pre made meals that you can buy or make at home to bring to work or school or have whenever you heart desires. They had me at vegan pizza! Me and my friend happened to be in Amsterdam, so what do you do when you’re in Amsterdam? Visit as many vegan hot spots as possible of course! This time Mastino V caught our attention, being a completely vegan pizzeria, I knew it was going to be a great evening. Spoiler: I was right, the evening was a success. Oh and did I mention the pizzas were gluten-free as well!
