We’re back with another hot spot. This is also the first day of my little journey where I’ll be taking the train through the netherlands looking for the most fun places to chill and work from. I’m just someone who can’t really work from home, so this means more hot spots!

Hot Spot #14 – Vegabond – Amsterdam
Hot Spot #13 – Moer – Amsterdam
About two weeks ago we got to try out the vegan menu at Moer, a fine dining and eco-friendly restaurant. The chef at Moer makes sure that vegetables are the main stars. While not everything is vegan and they do serve meat and fish, I found the vegan menu to be quite exciting! I could definitely tell that it was inspired, playing with the imagination.
The chef personally picks the best local farmers for his produce, making sure that the ingredients are local. Playing around and adjusting the dishes until he has perfectly balanced the dish. …
Hot Spot #12 – Deer Mama – Amsterdam
Hot Spot #11 – Meatless District (de pijp) – Amsterdam
Some of you Amsterdam foodies might have been familiar with the Meatless District at the bilderdijkstraat. After the success of their first location the two amazing woman behind this vegan hot spot decided to open a second location located in ‘de Pijp’. As a big foodie I love to visit the newest food spots to see if they live up to the hype. So after attending the openings lunch (which was delicious), I had to go back to test some of the menu items, which definitely did not disappoint. …
Hot Spot #10 – Wild Food Cafe – London
If you’re a raw foodie you’re going to love this hot spot! Wild Food Cafe might have been one of my favorite places to eat during our stay in London and inspired me to start eating more raw foods again.
Will I go fully raw?…
Hot Spot #9 – Magic Falafel – London
This magic falafel joint in Camden came as a nice surprise, I wasn’t craving falafel, but something about this place caught my attention. Thinking of it, it might have been the vegan brownie they had on display, as that was exactly what my friend was looking for. The place is small and can be found in the booming Camden market!
The moment the staff caught me peeping their food stall they gave us a piece of falafel to try, this is when we both knew we’d…
Hot Spot #8 – Mildred’s – London
With four locations in London Mildred’s is a populair chain of restaurants with many delicious vegan options. They also serve some vegetarian meals, but most of their dishes are vegan or with a vegan option available.
We went for a late breakfast and arrived around 11:40, before being told they were still closed until 12:00. After walking for almost an hour to eat at their place we patiently waited at a nearby espresso bar until the restaurant would open it’s doors. Being the fashionably late kids we are we…
Hot Spot #7 – Mastino V – Amsterdam
They had me at vegan pizza! Me and my friend happened to be in Amsterdam, so what do you do when you’re in Amsterdam? Visit as many vegan hot spots as possible of course! This time Mastino V caught our attention, being a completely vegan pizzeria, I knew it was going to be a great evening. Spoiler: I was right, the evening was a success. Oh and did I mention the pizzas were gluten-free as well!

Hot Spot #6 – Vegan Junkfood Bar – Amsterdam
Vegan Junkfood Bar? Yes you read it right, a vegan junkfood bar! As much as I’m trying to be a healthy vegan, I can’t help but be excited about this junkfood bar. It’s entirely plant based, making it a healthier, junkfood alternative. From dutch classics such as bitterballen (don’t ask me to translate that!) to…
