We’re back with another hot spot. This is also the first day of my little journey where I’ll be taking the train through the netherlands looking for the most fun places to chill and work from. I’m just someone who can’t really work from home, so this means more hot spots!

Hot Spot #10 – Wild Food Cafe – London
If you’re a raw foodie you’re going to love this hot spot! Wild Food Cafe might have been one of my favorite places to eat during our stay in London and inspired me to start eating more raw foods again.
Will I go fully raw?…
Hot Spot #9 – Magic Falafel – London
This magic falafel joint in Camden came as a nice surprise, I wasn’t craving falafel, but something about this place caught my attention. Thinking of it, it might have been the vegan brownie they had on display, as that was exactly what my friend was looking for. The place is small and can be found in the booming Camden market!
The moment the staff caught me peeping their food stall they gave us a piece of falafel to try, this is when we both knew we’d…
Hot Spot #8 – Mildred’s – London
With four locations in London Mildred’s is a populair chain of restaurants with many delicious vegan options. They also serve some vegetarian meals, but most of their dishes are vegan or with a vegan option available.
We went for a late breakfast and arrived around 11:40, before being told they were still closed until 12:00. After walking for almost an hour to eat at their place we patiently waited at a nearby espresso bar until the restaurant would open it’s doors. Being the fashionably late kids we are we…
Hot Spot #7 – Mastino V – Amsterdam
They had me at vegan pizza! Me and my friend happened to be in Amsterdam, so what do you do when you’re in Amsterdam? Visit as many vegan hot spots as possible of course! This time Mastino V caught our attention, being a completely vegan pizzeria, I knew it was going to be a great evening. Spoiler: I was right, the evening was a success. Oh and did I mention the pizzas were gluten-free as well!

Hot Spot #6 – Vegan Junkfood Bar – Amsterdam
Vegan Junkfood Bar? Yes you read it right, a vegan junkfood bar! As much as I’m trying to be a healthy vegan, I can’t help but be excited about this junkfood bar. It’s entirely plant based, making it a healthier, junkfood alternative. From dutch classics such as bitterballen (don’t ask me to translate that!) to…
Hot Spot #5 – Happy Earth – Rotterdam
Another hot spot has opened its doors, this time located in Rotterdam (North), which happens to be one of my favourite cities in the Netherlands. Happy Earth is a new and health conscious food spot, where you can get your whole food fix. Not only does Yonca (the owner) serve some of the most delicious plant-based meals but she also offers a variety of vegan foods in her little store. So you get a mini plant-based grocery store and cafe all in one!
Which started out as a blog turned into something really gorgeous! One thing I’ve always noticed when following Yonca’s blog and Instagram account is that she has an eye for detail. Her eye for detail combined with the philosophy of sharing whole, sustainable foods has manifested into a store of exquisite quality.

Hot Spot #4 – By Lima – Haarlem
I’m back with another hot spot, and this time it’s located in my own home town! Honestly, I can’t believe it took me this long to write about this place, especially since I was planning on doing so last year, well better late then never, right!?
The place I’m talking about it By Lima, which is a breakfast and lunch cafe located in Haarlem, the city where I’ve been born and raised….
Hot Spot #3 – Vevay – Frankfurt
When I’m visiting a new city I can’t leave without sharing at least one vegan hot spot. These type of posts help me decide where to eat when I’m visiting a new place so I’m always able to enjoy a vegan meal. I did some searching on happy cow and found some spots that caught my attention, due to a shortage of time I decided to only visit Vevay, and I’m happy I did!
It’s located in the city center across the Frankfurt opera house. My first impression was good, they had an impressive vegan menu (which also comes in English) and the service was nice. One thing to keep in mind is that you can only pay with cash!

Hot Spot #2 – Snoeptastisch – Zwolle
Sadly this hot spot is no longer around. But you can still order their products online!
The past weekend I went to visit my friends in Zwolle, which is located in the east of the Netherlands. There we took a stroll through the city centre and before we left to go to their home they wanted to show me a candy store where they sell vegan candy….
